In 2019 the library of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine will move into brand new facilities. We update you regularly about our progress. This time around, we are pleased to present you the location of our future premises.

In November 2019, the university library of medicine (BiUM) will settle at the top of the Bugnon street, in a new building overlooking the “Place des Falaises”.

Right next to the M2 metro, close from the Nestlé Hospital and the future Children’s Hospital, the library will remain well embedded in the hospital complex while getting closer to the auditoriums of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine which were inaugurated in 2016 on the César-Roux street.

The new premises, with a surface of 2000m², will take place on three floors traversed by lightwells. Accessible 7 days a week, the modern and ergonomic study spaces will offer 400 individual work places.
