Library services during COVID-19

Library spaces

    • With the exception of the loan desk, a COVID certificate and an ID are mandatory to access the library, following the requirements of the authorities and UNIL. CHUV directives also apply.
      Do not hesite to contact us if you have any question or specific needs.
      In order to facilitate book returns, a trolley is also available in the entrance hall.
    • Surgical masks are required in the library at all times, including when seated. Black surgical masks sold in supermarkets and cloth masks are not allowed in the CHUV buildings. Users are requested to bring blue surgical masks.

    • Work places are available in compliance  with the safety guidelines and social distancing rules that apply to all CHUV locations.
      The second floor is accessible to CHUV badge holders only.
    • Collections are available for on-site consultation and loan.
    • UNIL members can print, copy and scan documents using the PrintUNIL printing system.
    • CHUV employees can use the Papercut – Follow-You system (documentation in French and available only from the CHUV internal network)
    • Study spaces are set to ensure a proper distance between each user. It is forbidden to move any furniture.
