Three collaborators of the Medical Library took part in the annual conference of the European Association for Health Information and Libraries (EAHIL) held from the 12th to the 16th of June 2023. One of the aims of this association is to improve the collaboration and representation of medical libraries and librarians across Europe by providing them with a framework to raise the standards of the services they provide.

Hosted this year in Trondheim, Norway, this conference is a valuable opportunity for information professionals working in medical libraries to discuss their practices, share their knowledge and develop their skills in order to offer increasingly specialised services to the healthcare professionals and researchers they serve.

During a workshop titled “RDM Mission: A card-based educational escape game on research data management – Can you solve it in time?”, two collaborators of the library, in collaboration with colleagues from the library of the School of Health Sciences HES-SO Valais-Wallis, presented their educational game on research data management. Translated to English for the occasion, this collaborative game provides an introductory level training on the subject by offering an overview of the research data lifecycle and the related management tasks in an entertaining way.
