BLOODY MARCH – menstruation as a thread

The CLASH collective presents a cycle of events around menstruation. Every week during the month of March, on Tuesday at 6.30 pm, an event will take place on a specific matter around menstruation. These events will be held in different forms, in different places and with different guests.

One will talk about taboo, transidentities, bodies in (re)construction, social (de)construction, normative society, menstrual precariousness, pink tax, pain, medical (dis)interest, art, cinema.

The first meeting will take place on Tuesday March 3 (6.30pm, CHUV Yersin Auditorium) about the theme of Mentruations and Transidentities, in collaboration with the EROS Association and the Agnodice Foundation.

The Library is associated with these events by exhibiting a selection of documents (articles, books, videos, websites) related to the topics discussed.

The Library also supports the “Solidary menstruation” action. On the ground floor (level -0), a box will be set up in which periodical protections will be made available free of charge, in order to fight against menstrual precariousness and to raise awareness of the often high price of these products, which are nevertheless essential. Donations are also encouraged.
